Terms of Use Agreement

Effective Date: January 1, 2026   |   Last Updated: July 27, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at herlawyer.com and all associated pages, forms, features, and content (collectively, the “Website”), which is owned and operated by Her Lawyer, a Professional Law Corporation (“Her Lawyer,” the “Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Website.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Website in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by all applicable laws and regulations. If you are using the Website on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. We may revise these Terms at any time as described in Section 19. Your continued use of the Website after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. About This Website; Attorney Advertising

The Website is provided by Her Lawyer, a law practice organized under the laws of the State of California. The attorney responsible for the Website is David Hakimfar, Esq., State Bar of California No. 263689, with an office located at 8746 Holloway Drive, West Hollywood, California 90069 (the “Responsible Attorney”). To the extent required by the California Rules of Professional Conduct or other applicable law, this Website and its contents may constitute ATTORNEY ADVERTISING. The information you obtain at or through the Website is not, and is not intended to be, legal advice. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

3. Not Legal Advice

All content on the Website — including articles, blog posts, practice-area descriptions, answers to common questions, and other materials — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice on any subject matter. The law changes frequently, varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, and may be applied differently depending on specific facts. Content on the Website may not reflect the most current legal developments and may not apply to your particular circumstances. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of any content on the Website without first seeking the advice of a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. Your use of the Website does not create any attorney-client relationship, as further described in Section 4.

4. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Your access to or use of the Website, your submission of information through any form, chat, or email link on the Website, and your receipt of any content from the Website do NOT create an attorney-client relationship between you and Her Lawyer or any attorney affiliated with the Firm. An attorney-client relationship with the Firm is formed only when: (a) you and the Firm have signed a written engagement or retainer agreement; (b) the Firm has completed a conflict-of-interest check and confirmed in writing that it is able to represent you; and (c) any required advance fee or deposit has been arranged as set forth in that agreement. Until all of these conditions are satisfied, you are not a client of the Firm, and the Firm owes you no duty of any kind arising from your use of the Website.

5. Confidentiality; Do Not Send Confidential Information

Because no attorney-client relationship is formed through your use of the Website, any information or materials you send to the Firm through the Website, by email, or through any online form are NOT privileged, NOT confidential, and NOT protected by any duty of confidentiality, and will not be treated as such. Please do not send any confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the Website or by email until an attorney-client relationship has been established by a signed written agreement. Unsolicited information you send will not prevent the Firm from representing another client, including a client whose interests are adverse to yours, in the same or a related matter. If you have a potential legal matter, please contact the Firm and wait to provide details until the Firm has cleared conflicts and confirmed a representation in writing.

6. Where We Practice; Jurisdictional Limitations

Her Lawyer’s attorneys are licensed to practice law only in the State of California. The Website is intended for general informational use by the public and is not directed to, and should not be relied upon by, persons located in jurisdictions where the Firm’s attorneys are not licensed. Nothing on the Website is an offer to represent you, or a solicitation to provide legal services, in any jurisdiction in which the Firm’s attorneys are not admitted to practice or otherwise authorized to provide legal services. Any content on the Website that references the laws of states other than California is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice regarding the law of any jurisdiction. If you require legal advice concerning the law of a state other than California, you should consult an attorney licensed in that state.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Any references on the Website to past results, case outcomes, testimonials, or client experiences are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of any other legal matter. Every legal matter is different and must be evaluated on its own facts. The outcome of any particular matter depends on a variety of factors unique to that matter and cannot be predicted from prior results.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and all content, features, and functionality — including text, graphics, logos, images, page layouts, and the compilation thereof (collectively, the “Content”) — are owned by the Firm or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. “Her Lawyer” and any associated logos are trademarks of the Firm. You may not use such marks without the prior written permission of the Firm.

9. Limited License to Use the Website

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Firm grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Website and to view, download, and print Content solely for your own personal, non-commercial, informational use. This license does not include any right to: (a) resell or make commercial use of the Website or its Content; (b) reproduce, duplicate, copy, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Website for any commercial purpose; or (c) use any data-mining, robots, or similar data-gathering and extraction tools. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Firm.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Website: (a) in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation; (b) to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material; (c) to impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Firm, a Firm employee, another user, or any other person or entity; (d) to introduce any viruses, malware, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful; (e) to attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any part of the Website, the server on which it is stored, or any connected server or database; or (f) in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Website or interfere with any other party’s use of the Website.

11. User Submissions and Communications

The Website may allow you to submit information through contact forms, intake forms, or email links (“Submissions”). By making a Submission, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Subject to our Privacy Policy and Section 5 above, you acknowledge that Submissions are not confidential, and you grant the Firm the right to use Submissions for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and operating the Website. Do not make any Submission that is unlawful, infringing, or that contains confidential information you are not authorized to disclose.

12. Third-Party Links and Content

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or content that are not owned or controlled by the Firm. The Firm provides these links only as a convenience and is not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of any third-party websites. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the Firm. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and is subject to the terms and policies of those websites.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at https://herlawyer.com/privacy-policy/. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information in connection with the Website.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE WEBSITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FIRM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE FIRM DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE WEBSITE OR ITS SERVER ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. THE FIRM MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY CONTENT ON THE WEBSITE.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE FIRM OR ITS ATTORNEYS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE WEBSITE OR ANY CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF THE FIRM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or modifies (a) any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, or (b) any duty or liability of the Firm or its attorneys arising under the California Rules of Professional Conduct or from an actual attorney-client relationship established by a signed written engagement agreement. This Section 15 applies only to your use of the Website and does not apply to legal services rendered by the Firm under a written engagement agreement.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Firm and its attorneys, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 18, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

18. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by AAA under its applicable rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The arbitration will take place in Los Angeles County, California. You and the Firm each waive any right to a jury trial and agree that claims will be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. The “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were last revised. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

21. No Waiver

No waiver by the Firm of any term or condition set forth in these Terms is a continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of the Firm to assert a right or provision under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

22. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any of your rights or obligations under them, without the Firm’s prior written consent. The Firm may freely assign these Terms. These Terms are binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Firm regarding your use of the Website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements regarding the same subject matter.
